Some things about Pau

I'm a 22-year-old girl studying audiovisual communications at Paasikivi-Opisto in Turku, Finland. I can't remember a time I didn't enjoy doing arts! I consider myself efficient and experienced, fairly versatile, smart and easy to work with. I've won national competitions (SAKUstars2008) and gained a few stipends and diplomas from schools I attended.

I'm familiar with both traditional and digital mediums; especially working with inks, markers, handicrafts and mixed media. I also do Japanese bookbinding.

I work with both Mac and PC with CS4 or older. I use Wacom tablet in everyday life and know my way around XHTML and CSS. Editing video and sound is something I've practised, too.

I've done comics & illustrations for various people, bands, happenings, websites and magazines (Turun Sanomat, SUE). I just finished an internship on photomanipulation at Leimahdus Oy. I spent spring 2009 studying website design as an intern at Whitestone. My latest projects include graphic directing for a photography competition MEMORABLE PHOTOGRAPHY TROPHY and the promotional design of a West Coast Holocaust 9-10 metal festival.
