As a child I wasn't particularly into handicrafts - cutting, gluing, knitting or sowing.
My theory is that the over-instructed mandatory lessons at school ruined it for me.
I don't like it when people tell me which colour to add where, or how small the x piece of paper should be.
But as the years flew by I learned to enjoy working with different
mediums; paper, cardboard, metal wire, metal paints, cloth...
I took a class in Japanese bookbinding at Vimma
in spring 2008 and have continued with those methods in my work ever since.
My specialities include handmade cards with several sewn layers & pockets
and detailed bookmarks. I'm also pretty confident in sculpting wire.
If you're thinking of comissioning me, you'll get unique handmade cards, bookmarks, bindings, wire
sculptures - or whatever you can think of.
...Within reason, of course.
I'm an illustrator, not a master of the art of handicrafts :D
