I've drawn all my life, ever since I knew what the profound purpose of a pencil was.
Technically speaking I'm used to most of the basic methods; pencils, markers, watercolour, ink, pastel, charcoal and crayon. I also like to add in extra, like paperboard pieces or thread & needle. At the moment I work mostly digitally with Photoshop and Intuos4.
I'm confident in my ability to illustrate almost any given style. My methods are efficient and I'm usually the first one to finish the task. Concept art and character design are my personal strengths.
Although I variete styles from pseudo-manga to Finnish rock-comics and realism to naïve, my themes are similar in each story. I love horror, rock pastiches and black humor - and often throw in a few fantasy and science fiction elements. I'm an extremely productive writer.

Advertisements, posters, booklets, calling cards, logos, shirt designs, tattoos... Everything goes! I'm pretty good with Flash; I've made small games, web buttons and short stories alone and in study groups. I like messing around with various programmes, like 3D, video & sound editing and Ren'Py.
I've built a few websites for friends and myself (such as this one), so I have a decent knowledge of XHTML & CSS. I prefer creating & slicing graphics and leaving the rest to the actual wizards, though. My commercial works include TUTO, Naamiaismaailma and Chef's Season to mention a few.
I can also handle a camera if need be. But I wouldn't call myself a photographer of any kind! Let's just say I know the basics and can take good-enough photos for mixed media work and personal use. I share my stock photos in deviantArt.
I took a class in Japanese bookbinding at Vimma in spring 2008 and have continued with those methods in my work ever since. My specialities include handmade cards with several sewn layers & pockets and detailed bookmarks. I'm also pretty confident in sculpting wire.
